about me

Yoga is a way for me to ground and root myself in my body and in my breath. Our bodies hold a wealth of wisdom.

My yoga journey began in college while studying kinesiology.  I have now practiced yoga for over twenty-five years and earned my 200-hour teacher certification in 2018.  My continued studies have focused on restorative, yin, and chair yoga, yoga for healthy aging, as well as pranayama and anatomy.

As a teacher it is my aim to provide the space for you to connect with your body and breath, so you can access your own internal wisdom. I offer many cues and variations encouraging you to adapt the pose to your body and find ease within your practice.

Away from the yoga mat many other things bring me joy. I live with my husband and our two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. An Anglophile at heart, I love sipping tea, embroidering or cross stitching, baking, going for long walks in nature, and getting cozy with a good book. I also love swimming, skipping rope, and playing the flute.

I look forward to sharing the practice of yoga with you through a simple breath.
